  This application provides the comprehensive functionalities tailored for running a loyalty program. It allows easy integration to our client’s existing POS system and consequently permits organisation to manage every aspect of loyalty program including members’ information, merchant activities, inventory updates, redemption process and so forth, at real time. The modules also allow automatic download of patches which requires only minimum of IT resources.


Managed Loyalty Application consists of the following modules:

Modules Description
Member Management
Maintains member information, mailing address, demography, etc.
Enables batch registration through robust backend system, which supports various file formats. Back-end module uses open source data binding (XML Binding) framework for Java, Castor to load the data from the batch File.
Contains on-line member management function to perform new member registration, profile update, etc., that is supported by EJB and Oracle-stored procedure.
Both the front end and backend activities are logged separately using multi-threaded log4j component in the xml-format, which will be ingested into Cocoon.
Consists of a sub module called Member Segmentation which provides customer segmentation and profiling capabilities that consolidate insight at a member level to build and monitor critical strategic segments over time.
   
Points Management
Points details from terminal, FTP, etc., are transferred into Concentrator are then loaded into the backend server as flat file.
Consists of a sub module called Fraternal Program which enables point cross over from different loyalty programs. Web services are available and are automated by EDI/XML.
   
Merchant Management
Enables registration/update of merchants, merchant locations, merchant purchase definitions, promotions, setting maximum limit for points and frequency, etc.
   
Catalogue Management
Enables registration/update of merchants, merchant locations, merchant purchase definitions, promotions, setting maximum limit for points and frequency, etc.
   
Redemption Management
Captures the redemption on both front and back end.
Allows members to redeem with points through online, IVR, Call Center, In-Store Redemption via terminals or truck etc.
Checks the availability of the catalog products and alert the stock level based on the limit set.
   
Inventory Management
Generates pick slips, back ordered items report and inventory planning report.
Receives items into inventory.
Create purchase orders to replenish stock.
Assign approved suppliers for inventory items, item locators and sub-inventory information.
Manage returned item accounting information.
Updates item costing information
   
Rules Engine
Ability to design, develop, deploy, and manage business rules by application architects, business users, and business managers.
